Our Commitment
Everyone should be able to learn about SMILES ON 35th, find our office and book a visit without running into a barrier. We want this website to be easy to use for every visitor, including people who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. If something gets in your way, we want to hear about it, and we will help you another way.
The Standard We Follow
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively working toward it. WCAG, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, is the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for making websites usable by people with disabilities.
What We've Done
This website currently includes:
A "Skip to main content" link, and consistent page landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
Navigation and menus you can operate with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that shows where you are on the page.
Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images.
Animations that respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
A logical heading structure and a declared page language, so assistive technology can move through each page in order and read it in the right language.
Known Limitations
Some features on this website are provided by other companies: online scheduling, the financing application, embedded videos and maps. We don't fully control how these tools are built, so parts of them may be harder to use with a keyboard or assistive technology.
