A first visit that goes beyond teeth cleaning
Looking for a teeth cleaning in Seattle? At SMILES ON 35th, your first visit starts longevity dentistry: care that catches risk before it becomes damage, planned for the decades ahead. We take the time to listen, then check your gums, teeth, bite, jaw joints, and airway to keep you healthy.
Book Your First VisitHealth beyond teeth
Your gums, bite, and airway affect your heart, sleep, and comfort, so we check them all. Dental cleaning is part of the same appointment.
Catching risk before it becomes damage
Digital X-rays, intraoral photos and a 3D scan catch problems while they're small.
Feel seen, heard, and supported
Unhurried visits leave time to hear your concerns and explain what we find.

Share your health history
Your medications, health conditions, and past dental work tell Dr. Shahid what to look for.
An unhurried exam and cleaning
Dr. Shahid hears your concerns, then examines your gums, teeth, bite, jaw joints, and airway. Most new patients have their cleaning that day.
Leave with a plan built to last
Dr. Shahid shows you what she found and why it matters, then builds a conservative plan with you to keep you healthy for the long term.
What your first visit includes
Your first visit looks at the full picture to catch issues early.
Comprehensive Exam
Dr. Shahid examines your gums and teeth, reviews your health history, and assesses your risk.
Digital X-rays and Intraoral Photos
Low-radiation digital X-rays show decay between teeth and bone loss. Intraoral photos show your teeth on screen.
Dental Cleaning*
A professional cleaning clears plaque and tartar above and below the gumline, so your gums get a healthy start.
Airway and Bite Evaluation
We check how your teeth meet and how you breathe, since your bite affects wear and your airway affects sleep.
*Most new patients have their cleaning at the first visit. If there are signs of gum disease, we plan it around the care your gums need first.
